Best QB Matchups
Player Matchup Dashboard: Passing YPG
- CJ Stroud (O258.5 passing yards – FD) heads into GB leading one of the league’s most prolific passing attacks against a GB secondary that ranks 25th in passing YPG and passes of 10+ yards allowed. Stroud threw for 330+ in 2 of the L3 weeks against Buffalo and Jacksonville. He should be in line for another strong day against a GB secondary that grades poorly against the pass and has allowed Jalen Hurts (20-34, 278 yards, 2 TD’s), Sam Darnold (20-28, 275 yards, 3 TD’s, 1 INT) and Matthew Stafford (29-45, 260 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; without Puka Nacua & Cooper Kupp) all to have success through the air.
- Jared Goff (O251.5 passing yards – DK) is facing a Minnesota secondary that ranks 30th in passing YPG and 27th in passes of 10+ yards allowed. Jordan Love (32-54, 389 yards, 4 TD’s, 3 INT’s) and Brock Purdy (28-36, 319 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) have lit up Minnesota this season. Minnesota ranks 2nd in rushing YPG allowed, while cleared this number in 3 of his L4 games in a stretch where he is averaging 278+ yards passing and is completing nearly 73% of his attempts.
- Lamar Jackson (O227.5 passing yards – DK) heads into a matchup on MNF against a TB secondary that ranks 28th in passing YPG and 26th in passes of 10+ yards. The Bucs are stout against the run with Vita Vea healthy but were torched by Kirk Cousins (42-58, 509 yards, 4 TD’s) through the air on TNF two weeks ago. Jackson has been prolific through the air in the L2 weeks against Washington (20-26, 323 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) and Cincy (26-42, 348 yards, 4 TD’s) and will need to do so again on MNF against one of the league’s most suspect secondaries.
- Baker Mayfield (O253.5 passing yards – FD) and the Bucs will host a Baltimore secondary that ranks 32nd in passing YPG allowed and passes of 10+ yards allowed and has been consistently suspect against the pass. Pat Mahomes (20-28, 291 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), Gardner Minshew (30-38, 276 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), Joe Burrow (30-39, 392 yards, 5 TD’s, 1 INT) and Jayden Daniels (24-35, 269 yards, 2 TD’s) have all cleared this number against Baltimore, while Mayfield has thrown for 325 yards / 4 TD’s and 347 yards / 2 TD’s in two of his L3 starts against New Orleans and Philly respectively.
Best RB Matchups
Player Matchup Dashboard: Rushing YPG
- JK Dobbins (O75.5 rushing yards – DK) enjoys one of the most attractive matchups in the Week 7 slate, lining up against an Arizona run defense that ranks 29th in rushing YPG and 26th in runs of 10+ yards allowed. Dobbins exploded onto the scene in his first two starts with the Chargers against the Raiders (10 carries, 135 yards, 1 TD) and Panthers (17 carries, 131 yards, 1 TD), and struggled in Weeks 3 and 4 against Pittsburgh (4th in rushing YPG allowed) and KC (5th in rushing YPG allowed). He carried the ball 25 times for 96 yards and 1 TD against Denver in Week 6 and will now face a Cardinals’ run defense that is allowing 154 rushing YPG.
- Bijan Robinson (O62.5 rushing yards – FD) is facing a Seattle run defense that ranks 27th in rushing YPG and YPC, fresh off a Week 6 performance in which he carried the ball 15 times for 95 yards and 1 TD against a Carolina run defense that ranks 31st in rushing YPG allowed. Robinson was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday of this week but was off the injury report on Friday. SF just posted 228 yards on the ground against Seattle on TNF, while Tyrone Tracy of the Giants (18 carries, 129 yards) and Jahmyr Gibbs (14 carries 78 yards, 2 TD’s) have enjoyed success in weeks prior.
- Saquon Barkley (O78.5 rushing yards – FD) returns to MetLife Stadium to face the team that drafted him and let him go. Barkley headlines an Eagles’ run game that ranks 6th in rushing YPG, now facing a Giants’ run defense that ranks 32nd in YPC and 26th in runs of 10+ yards. Barkley was held in check last week against Cleveland, but has cleared this number in each of his 4 previous starts in 2024 and will look to show the Giants why they made a mistake letting him walk in free agency.
Best WR Matchups
Player Matchup Dashboard: Receiving YPG
- Chris Godwin (O74.5 receiving yards – FD) caught 11 balls for 125 yards and 2 TD’s on 13 targets a week ago against New Orleans. Godwin and the Bucs will face a Baltimore secondary that ranks 32nd in passing YPG allowed and passes of 10+ yards allowed. Jamar Chase caught 10 balls for 193 yards and 2 TD’s two weeks ago against Baltimore; Mike Evans is still recovering from a hamstring injury, and Godwin should continue to see significant target share against a Ravens’ secondary that’s been the league’s worst in 2024.
- Jameson Williams (O47.5 receiving yards – FD) is a boom or bust target in Detroit’s high-powered passing attack, but has cleared this number comfortably in 4 of 5 starts this season. He and the Lions will now face a Minnesota secondary that ranks 30th in passing YPG and 27th in passes of 10+ yards allowed.
- Stefon Diggs (O65.5 receiving yards – FD) will continue to benefit from the increased target share available in Nico Collins’ absence and will be a focal point of the Texans’ passing attack in Week 7 against a GB secondary that ranks 25th in passing YPG and passes of 10+ yards allowed. In his L4 starts, Diggs is averaging nearly 7 receptions, 9 targets and 80+ yards receiving.
- AJ Brown (O75.5 receiving yards – FD) is the centerpiece of the Eagles’ passing attack and has logged 11 receptions, 19 targets, 235 receiving yards and 2 TD’s in just two starts this season. Philly will be without their starting TE Dallas Goedert and doesn’t have a real WR3, which leaves a significant target vacuum for AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith to fill in Week 7 against the Giants.
